Well established and expanding biotechnology company seeks mechanical engineer to manage projects within areas of plant operations, maintenance and reliability. All Applicants must be willing to travel.

Job Details:

This position will be in charge of:

Plant troubleshooting.
Defining the scope of projects and the schedules
Preparing cost estimates.
Procuring equipment and services.
Managing some construction projects.

Basic Qualifications:

BS in Mechanical Engineering with 3-5 years of experience in biofuels, refinery, food processing, wastewater treatment, or pretro-chemical industries.
AG Engineering Degree and prior plant experience will also be considered.
Experience in distillation/evaporation.
In depth knowledge of rotating equipment (pumps, fans, bearings, drive units, etc.)
In depth knowledge of pressure vessels (fired and unfired).
Working knowledge of CAD.
Familiarity with codes and standards (ASME,ASHRAE, etc.)
Engineers with EIT preferred.
